From Airport to RLF Brussels

 

By bus:

The bus is the fastes way to reach the office. Bus No. 12 and 21 set off at the "Level Zero" of the airport and head towards the EU quarter (3 Euro at ticket machine next to the bus; 5 Euro in the bus). After about 40 minutes you reach the bus station "Schuman". Please leave the bus here. Please have a look at the description below how to reach the office from here.

 

With railway and metro:

From the third basement of the airport, a train leaves every 12 minutes to the Brussels Central Station (Gare Central). You can buy a ticket before departure at a counter (ca. 5 Euro).

At the Central Station, follow the metro signs, you need to walk about 5 minutes. Please follow the signs to the metro lines 1 and 5 direction "Stockel” and “Hermann-Debroux". Take one of the lines and you reach the metro station "Schuman" after four halts. When you step out of the metro waggon, go to your left and use the last exit in the driving direction (escalators). On this level, watch out for the metro exit „R. P. Schuman“. When you leave the underground, you will find yourself in front of the Berlaymont building of the European Commission.

 

Walking from roundabout "Schuman" to the office:

If you are on the roundabout "Schuman", watch out for the big rolling building, the European Commission. When you look at it head-on, take the road towards your right side. This is Rue Archimède. Walk down Rue Archimède. The road ends at a parc. Turn right here and then right again. You have entered the Ave. Michel-Ange. The office is on your right side, house number 11.

 

From RLF Brussels to Airport

 

With metro and railway:

Go back to metro station "Schuman". Travel with lines 1 or 5 direction “Erasme” and “Gare de l’Ouest” to Central Station and take the train to the airport. 

By bus:

Go back to the roundabout "Schuman". Take the busses No. 12 or 21. Their halt is in front of “Fortis bank”. The busses go directly to the airport.

From Railway to RLF Brussels

 

Southern Railway Station (Gare du Midi):

If you arrive at the Southern Railway Station, take the metro lines 2 or 6 direction "Simonis (Elisabeth)" and get off the metro at the subway station "Arts-Loi". It takes six halts to get there. From "Arts-Loi", take the metro lines 1 or 5 direction "Stockel" or "Hermann-Debroux". Take one of the lines and you reach the metro station "Schuman" after four halts. When you step out of the metro waggon, go to your left and use the last exit in the driving direction (escalators). On this level, watch out for the metro exit „R. P. Schuman“. When you leave the underground, you will find yourself in front of the Berlaymont building of the European Commission.

From RLF Brussels to Railway

 

Southern Railway Station (Gare du Midi):

Go back to metro station "Schuman". Travel with lines 1 or 5 direction “Erasme” and “Gare de l’Ouest” to subway station "Arts-Loi" (two halts). Change the metro here. Take the metro lines 2 or 6 direction "Simonis (Leopold II)". Get off the metro at the subway station "Gare du Midi" (six halts).
