Call for Tenders for editorial work
This call is for a journalistic summary of various workshops held during a conference on the Global Green New Deal, a sectorial three-day conference, which took place last year in Brussels. The workshops were recorded and will be made available to the author. The content of the audio files is to be compiled into a summarising text to be published on the website of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Brussels. The aim is to make the results of the conference comprehensible and accessible to an interested public. The variety of topics of the workshops ranges from Just Transition and the right to mobility to energy justice and financing opportunities on a global scale. The detailed programme can be found below in the download section.
Summary of the task: Create a summary (approximately 1 page) for each panel of the conference
About us
The Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung is an internationally operating non-profit organisation for civic education affiliated with Germany’s Left Party. It is a discussion forum for progressive political alternatives and a centre for critical thinking and research both in Germany and throughout the world. The Brussels Office operates also as a think tank reflecting on European and international issues affecting societies and their living conditions.
About you
We are keen to hear from applicants who possess transcription and editorial experience. Excellent English language skills at native level are required as well as knowledge about the topics of the workshops. Having experience in collaborating with left-wing organisations and political education would be a major asset.
Timeline
The contract should start on 1 March 2023 and the service should be completed on 30 April 2023. The invoice for the agreed service must also be submitted on 30 April 2023.
